Dr. Stefan Matzinger
Co-founder & Chairman
Dr. Stefan Matzinger is a Senior Partner Emeritus of McKinsey & Company. He has 37 years of experience in global management and strategy consulting and was elected five times to serve on McKinsey’s Global Board for 15 years. He has rich experience in healthcare, real estate, infrastructure, consumer goods, retail, banking and other fields. He holds an MBA from INSEAD and a Doctor’s Degree of Law from University of Salzburg.
John Du
Co-founder & Managing Partner
John Du leads the team on all facets of SMG’s Medical Service, Translational Medicine and Medical Education businesses with more than 20 years of experience in Financing, Investment and Global Project Management. He is the former Managing Partner of Rose Rock Group, founded by members of the Rockefeller family. He holds an MBA (Honorary Degree) from University of Chicago and a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from University of Missouri.
Steven Rockefeller III

Steven Rockefeller Ⅲ represented the Rockefeller family in various diplomatic and commercial affairs with rich experience in investment and customer relationship. He is director of Business Development at Zammo. He is also the former Managing Partner of Rose Rock Group, founded by members of the Rockefeller family and former Managing Partner of Arete Development Partners, LLC. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Boston College.
